Students and parents who were successful at audition for the 2012 Performing Company are invited to our meet and greet session to provide you with information about the Company, rehearsals and events that will occur throughout the year.
This meet and greet will be held at Mossvale High School on Sunday the 4th of March at 2pm
Ensemble members for 2012 should check the Ensemble web page for information about your upcoming camp and requirements for 2012.

“Students who have been successful in more than one group will need to pay an additional Company Fee if they choose to participate in activities throughout the year for both groups ie. Dance and Drama. These same students must make a commitment to ONE group for Southern Stars – there will be NO doubling up for Southern Stars”.
“The above rule does not apply to students who are in the Regional Performing Ensemble as the Ensemble is seperate to the Regional Company”.

Due to an over whelming response for High School Drama Auditions (this was not advertised) an Expression of Interest will be sent via school biz and published on the Southern Stars Website early in 2012.
Students who have already sent in application will NOT need to apply again.
Primary Dance auditions will take place this Wednesday 30th November, 2011 from 8.30 till 12.30 pm, at Dapto High School in the Main Hall.
High School auditions will take place on Thursday 1st December, 2011 from 8.30 am till 3.00 pm, at Dapto High School in the Main Hall.
Students participating in either of these auditions are reminded that you will need to wear appropriate dance attire – leotard or singlet top with shorts or tights. No shoes are required but jazz shoes may be worn if you would like.
Please ensure that students have plenty of water and food for the duration of the audition

Due to the enormous number of requests for Vocal Auditions received, Vocal Auditions will take place over 3 days.
All auditions will be held at Southern Lights Vocal Academy – 63/65 Princes Highway, Dapto. Please note that the School Year is the year the student will be in 2012.
